The Evil In The World

The evil in the world will make a first class student graduate with a pass, it's that same evil that had a potential medical doctor destined to find the cure of a deadly disease drop out of school to end up on the street. I wish I had the words to qualify the magnitude of these four letter words embedded in the world that we have to contend with each day of our lives but some things are just better left unsaid because I hate to under-emphasis the ache the world has been accustomed with and we can only but ask for grace and more grace that's sufficient for each day. Unfortunately, I've seen the brightest kids grow up to be at the bottom of their class and destiny they say cannot be changed but delayed. Well, in my own perspective and looking from an enemy point of view, since it can be delayed, why then worry so much about changing it when we can just frustrate him to an early grave. Now let's be logical, what other changes needed to be done when someone destined to be a lawyer is frustrated to the extent of pushing trucks by the road side and eventually meets his end by the failed brakes of a reckless driver.

You better wake up and stop fooling yourself. I mean, changed or not, what good was it anyway, after all, they ended up not fulfilling their purpose on earth and are now lying six feet under the ground. Well, I don't know about you but I like to see myself as a realist and not get filled by the lies fed to us. The truth is, the more sophisticated the world gets, the more sophisticated the evil in it. Back then, all you had to do was get on your kneels and pray to God and maybe go a day or three days of fasting and there would be a swift solution to your problems, but these days, you'll need to climb up a mountain and walk down a couple of times after you must have undergone a twenty one days of dry fasting just to get an insight of what the problem even is, talk more of what the subsequent steps will be if there were to be any luck of you coming close to finding a solution.

You know, the Panadol that will initially step down malaria cannot even get rid of a slight headache anymore, it just comes to show that the world has become the battle of the fittest and every segment of it has been upgraded and even our pastors have to tighten their trousers properly to cast out a single demon. And the truth is, the world is incomplete without it, I believe it's a way of God moulding us to be the lieutenant and generals he created us to be. Without evil, we won't fully brace ourselves up and know His true worth. So therefore, my writing this piece is not to acknowledge the evil in the world because I believe even a baby newly born into the world comes prepared knowing there are challenges and hurdles ahead to scale through. So if you ask me, am basically writing this piece as a reminder or better still, a wake up call for us all to change our approach to life so we don't end up dishing ourselves in the enemy's plate for them to devour. No doubt God owns our lives and watches over us but we too have a major role to play in it. Even the bible and the holy Quran makes us understand that God helps those who help themselves. So I ask, what are you doing to save guard that precious life given to you?

To overcome the world, first you have to acknowledge the evil in it and be well strapped to go toe to toe with it. But then, I will not tell you who to hold on to because we are all people of different culture and religious backgrounds and the fact am a Christian doesn't give me the right to condemn what you believe in, I can only help show you what the right path is and where following that route leads to. So rather than force my options on you, I only admonish that you to hold on tight to what you believe in and hope you find comfort and safety there. But for me, I've chosen the Lord as the author and finisher of my faith and you can as well, after all, you don't need any permission from anyone, his hands are widely opened and ever ready to accept you into his gates.

And with that said, I also want you to know that it is not just about accepting Jesus, Mohammed or whoever it is you call your God. Like I said earlier, you have a huge role to play too. How do you treat your fellow man, would you destroy or take his life if you had the chance to? What evil words have you prophesied in the life of a fellow human because he hurt you or took something that belongs to a friend? These and many more questions are what we need to ask ourselves and if guilty at any point, then we should be worried because the truth is, the evil we do always finds a way of coming back to us. Remember, when you point a finger at someone, the raining fingers points right back at you and that's why it's so easy for the enemy to destroy and end your life. Basically, whatever you sow is what you'll reap, period. God is not dead, you can't help secure the life of others and someone in the dark takes yours. He's not just going to sit there and fold his arms and watch that happen. And if by any chance he does, then be rest assured that you've paved a way somewhere along the line for that to happen.

It's an eye for an eye, if you live by the sword, be rest assured to die by the sword. You may have given your life to Christ after many years of a wayward life that had you take lives and now living a righteous one, but that doesn't stop the enemy from taking yours when they come for it because you're only paying for your deeds. The only difference is that your heaven has been guaranteed. Many in that scenario would question why God will allow that to happen but then we are so quick to forget that the man that was killed also has a God. Guess that explains why we should be very careful with the choices we make because our past never really goes away and I wish I could go on and on but a word they say is enough for the wise. I conclude, the evil in the world will have a pastor molest his congregation. Apparently, no one is left out of the circuit. The more calling on you, the more the temptation brought your way. And by the way, I purposely used an anointed of the Lord as the case study so that we would know what a little distraction can cause and we can only but continually ask for grace and his grace I pray will be sufficient for us each day.
