The Future Belongs To You

Being the best version of yourself is all it takes to make your life great. Why are you trying so hard to fit in when you already stand out?

Whatever it is you've learnt from the valley part of your life, why not take to the mountain top and resolve to living each day being the best you can ever be.

You know, you don't have to figure it all out to move forward. Endeavor to put aside your fear and worries, and whatever setbacks you may have encountered in the past that's been limiting your progress and the will to fight and start rebuilding.

Regardless of what happens in the long run, remember that true happiness begins to arrive only when you stop complaining about your problems and you start being grateful for all the problems you don't have.

The future they say belongs to those with big ideas, thoughts and dreams but I say it also belongs to those who are ready to forgive their past, make peace with their present situation and embrace the future.

Getting ahead in life basically involves hard work and perseverance, as well as a willingness to take risks and learn from failure.

No doubt you have failed, but it's time to pick yourself up and start rebuilding. Winning begins with your attitude and it starts with the decision to try again. God bless!

There's No Shame In Being A Broken Man

You reach the bottom of the mountain much quicker than you reach the top. In other words, it is a pretty difficult task to climb your way up the ladder of success but dame easy to fall off and find yourself back at the bottom of that very ladder. Be silent and pray. You will need it. The truth is, not too many of us make it to see the day we would be able to make a statement. So amidst the pain and life struggles, be grateful if you eventually make it through.

It is not how soon but how well as a very popular saying goes, but that doesn't necessarily mean you should sit your lazy ass down and always wait on luck to come to the rescue, because you just might run out of it sooner than you think and get knocked out by life. Success will never lower its standards to accommodate you. You have to raise your standards to achieve it. God provides food for every bird but not in their nest. Rise up to the challenges ahead of you and conquer your fears.

The fact you woke up today and your precious life hasn't been taken away from you is yet another great opportunity to become the man and woman you've always dreamed off. However, you must know that you have a lead role to play in this life's greatest adventure of rediscovering self and fulfillment of destiny. Do not ask God to guide your footsteps if you're not willing to move your feet. Success is sought for. You can't just sit down, you have to get up and act. Heaven they say help those who help themselves.

Although I know you may be scared because you're not sure of what awaits you at the other side of the line but may I remind you that courage is the commitment to begin without any guarantee of success. Choose to start a new reign over lack, disappointment, failure, impossibilities and watch God crown your effort with a golden platt. Every path we take leads to another choice and some choices could change everything. Every dame moment for the rest of our life hangs on it but I've got a choice I have to make and I suggest you do the same.

I know things have been pretty difficult and you might be at the point of giving up but just before you do, I want you to realize that the depth of your struggles will determine the height of your success. God allows us to go through the test to create a testimony, that's how it works. It is not over until you win my dear friend. A present inconvenience may be necessary for a long term benefit. Your current position isn't as important as the direction you're headed in. Don't look at where you've been but where you're going to.

When the pain is deep, go deeper in prayer. And though I cannot promise you to have a smooth journey but this I can, God will never abandon us in times of trouble. When storms come your way, just remember you know the master of the wind. And may I conclude by saying, "The world breaks everyone; the good, the bad, the brave and those it doesn't break, it kills. There's no shame in been a broken man, you just have to pick up the pieces and start rebuilding."

Cry A River

No matter the pain you feel, you can't cry a river, so instead of lying there shedding those awful tears, why not activate that warrior button on your blackberry "BOLD" and switch the gear a little. It's okay to feel pain but don't get weighed down by it. Life is all about lessons and how quickly we learn determines the credits we earn. God does not have time for pity, He's in the business of building soldiers that are ready to war, you just can't be caught hiding behind the wall. You are of no use to Him if you can't teach your hands to war, the world is a battle ground and the strong they say survive.

You can't cry at every gas life leaks at you, it's either you have your oxygen mask available on standby or find your way through that crowd quick enough to prevent the teargas from getting into your eyes, you wouldn't want it disrupting your movement or would you?. However, pain is meant to be felt and dealt with, they are part of what defines us, if you've never been heart broken, how would you know how to cherish one. Life is in stages, a time to learn and a time to share that which you've learnt and guess my experiences gave birth to this piece. I've had it worst than you can ever imagine but things wouldn't have been that rough if I had the privilege you're having reading this today. Back then I questioned God's love for me because I wondered why He would allow me go through so much pain, but today I've grown to understand he was actually building me to become the man I'm fast becoming and the king I was created to eventually be.

Our scars they say remind us that the past is real and today when I look back am thankful for those times because they are priceless and they helped define reality for me. Now I can proudly beat my chest and say to my past that I came, I saw and conquered. You paved a way for today and tomorrow is right in line preparing for the future. We are nothing without the pain of the past and as a matter of fact, the most successful people in the world today had it pretty rough at some point in their life too. But then, rather than just sit there and question their maker, they drew out strength from their circumstances, using it as a stepping stone that motivated them to becoming what they are today.

Truth be told, you can't make it up there without getting in a ring with your struggles, you just have to be well prepared to knock them out. Some are extremely determined and end the bout in the first round while some have to wait for a synonymous call to determine their faith. By this time, a lot of time and energy has been wasted in the ring and not forgetting the series of punches that knocked them to the ground. But then, our fingers are not equal, so whatever situation you find yourself, I want you to know you're travelling with the map the Lord has specially designed for your life and nothing associated with your journey was a mistake. The times you've fallen will determine how strong you'll rise. Life is not mathematics, the formula you need to adopt might be different from mine.

Never work with another man's time, even the time zone of some states in the United States differ, talk more of the world at large. You've been structured specially to meet a set goal and should work hard each day to know what tariff plan suits that. You can't be a blogger and activate a five hundred megabyte internet plan for your monthly subscription, don't limit yourself. Embrace the change and welcome new ideas. You've got more functions than a game pad so don't be limited to what you see alone but spend each second trying to unravel the mistery behind that which you don't see. So I say, rather than water your bed with your tears, why not allow the pain plant those seed of success and water them to reality. It's pointless drowning yourself in the river of self pity when new opportunities present themselves at our feet each day and all we just have to do is brush off the dust from the last fall and stand again. I repeat, no matter the tears you cry, you can't cry a river, so when life gives you lemon, why not get a bottle of vodka and mix it up with some ice.
