If I Could.. (Special Dedication)

If I could, I will be optimistically optimistic that I should, and guess this piece would have had a better and more reassuring title like ‘heaven is good’. Life is painted in black and white and if you are not careful and vigilant enough, it just might offer you a couple more stripes. I’ve seen, I’ve heard and awakened it and above all, I’m pregnant with an ever burning desire to live it but the day to day hustle and bustle got me stuck in between doing right and wrong.

Who is to blame for all these misfortune? God created the world so beautifully and however went on to create man in His own image but we chose to eat the forbidden apple, leaving the shawarma to burn. Now, there’s nothing ‘Eden’ about our gardens anymore, what we have are just flowers surrounding our drive way with not even a single fruit to pluck. So I ask again, who let the dame snake in?

Well, I guess we should have been more conscious of the creepy creeping creature and gather up some boiled eggs and throw them all over the place, hoping it chokes to death. And Eve they blame for all the infelicity but I say Adam must have already been thinking of owning a surname as ‘Sandler’ and that’s why he decided to eat the dame fruit.  But then, I guess it’s a little too late for regrets and pointing accusing fingers because the remaining four actually points back at us so why don’t we stand up to do something to make a difference individually to the life of the man next door.

As a matter of fact, I’m really baffled by a couple of stuffs and only hope someone out there might have the right answers. You know, we all ate the fruit and instantly gained our sight and became wise so why can’t some solve a simple arithmetic. And also on the other hand, we were made to understand that Adam and Eve knew they were naked and rushed to cover themselves up with some leaves immediately they ate the fruit so why do we still find some ladies out there walking about the streets naked all in the name of a fashion trend, I guess they must have eaten the leaves and not the apple itself.

Crazy right, that’s what I thought, but then I wouldn’t allow that derail me as I’ve got my eyes locked on the head of the nail and with these words I’ll be hammering into us the essence of today’s inspiration and hope I reach out to a soul or two.  And with that said, allow me to quickly make a wish list in my head and hope with that I’m able to relate to you all some of my concerns and maybe they just might become yours too and together we can make a change and make the world a better place to live.

You know, I hate to slap the taste out of anyone’s mouth but if I could, I would have the president of this beloved country of mine get back in his uniform and rule again as a military leader, reintroducing the ‘War Against Indiscipline” that was first introduced in 1984 and have those so called untouchables locked behind bars and their stupid legacies can rot in hell for all I care. They are nothing but a total disgrace to this country and everything we stand for. People fight to cast in their vote so that they and their children can have a better life but it’s their private jets that are landing and their containers taking turns at the sea pot and yet they expect us to keep our mouth shut.

Well, I don’t know about you but my voice must be heard because it hurts to see an elderly man who must have served the country all those long years in service, still mounting the gates at our local stores and neighborhoods, when provisions should have been made to enrich them for the rest of their lives. Our mothers doing petty jobs just to survive and there we are cruising Lincolns and Bentleys, cursing our heritage. It’s an unforgivable abomination to suffer so much for a child who grows up to forget us and I pray that wouldn’t be our portion. If I could, I would have our fathers and mothers take trips to the Bahamas and we all can return back to the farm to cultivate a better tomorrow. If I could, I would stop piracy so that our hard working musicians, actors and film makers can begin to enjoy the fruit of their labor and royalties payed to them for their outstanding work.

Nigeria is fast taking on the world, what are you doing to contribute your own quota? Are you involved in some internet scam and destroying the image of this glorious country? Well, it takes only a while for time to catch up with you and when it does, you’re sure to vomit every pounds and dollars you reaped a fellow human off or you can as well right now just follow my lead and choose to stay clean. We’ve all made some wrong choices at some point in our lives but how long do we intend to keep acting ignorant when we know the truth. My brothers and sisters, if I could, I would bring back our girls and bring back the glorious days when the world was afraid to get toe to toe with our senior national football team, what about you?

Horrible Bosses

It’s been a while I blessed these pages and that’s simply because I had to take some time out to retreat, guess God needed to take me through some experiences that I believe would set me off in motion for this year’s project and I can only hope I gained all that I needed to, at every step of the way and pray my pen fulfills the purpose for every inspiration that sets my hands in motion. The past two months have been quite fulfilling considering the fact that I met a couple of interesting individuals who opened my eyes to so many things, thus making me understand life better and appreciating mine even more.

The truth is, life is full of vultures and vampires who do not need to seek any sort of permission from you to get fed on. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, that’s just the basic formula of life, unless you get up and push the reset button.  No one wants you to make it, especially the rich, they rather want you to stay poor and have you serve them forever.  But then, of course, that doesn’t mean there are not some wonderful exceptions of those who would give their last penny and connection to see that you have a life.

Ever seen how some of the rich treats their employees, especially the ones working close to them, forgetting that God at that moment has placed their life in their hands and the cook for instance can decide to add a couple expired baked beans to the meal and have them purge their heart out or the driver who can decide to do a hundred and sixty on the highway, giving the car wings to fly off the bridge into the ocean, knowing fully well that he can swim his way out of been a part of the intending tragedy just to mention a few.

Your workers are not your slaves. They are only there to serve you so that they will someday grow to be served as well. You can’t afford to keep treating them like a piece of trash, they take the trash out of your lives so that you don’t stink so bad, so why not appreciate them instead. I heard a story from the driver of a senior colleague of mine of how an employer visited the home of his employee when his wife gave birth and the moment he stepped into the house, he asked him if he lived with his uncle.  Funny right, what must he have been thinking, is it that he couldn’t afford or maybe it’s that he doesn’t deserve to have such a pleasant life and expected to see him live and feed with pigs.

It’s just sad how people tend to look down on others, forgetting that it’s only by grace they have all they possess and boast so much about and it doesn’t take God anything to take that grace away from them. So I ask you, what kind of boss are you? Are you the type that makes life a living hell for those that work for you or with you, the kind that sees opportunities in others and take advantage of them, or maybe you are the type that sees potentials in others and do everything within your power to help them achieve their goal and aspirations, not just at work but in life generally.

Well, in whatever category you might fall to, just always remember that no condition is permanent, neither does anyone hold a position forever, tables could turn in just a matter of seconds and those junior colleagues, employees and servants that you treat like slaves can grow to be kings tomorrow. Let’s learn to treat others with love and respect regardless their present status. The fact that they serve you doesn’t mean you own them. God has kept them in your care so that you can nurture and help them grow to be the kings they were created to be as they serve you. No one is a servant forever, except those who are comfortable with their circumstances. Apparently, you can’t help a man who doesn’t want to be helped, but to those who see and desire better for themselves, it cost you nothing to render a helping hand when you can.

The sky is big enough for birds to fly. No one can grow to occupy your space if you lay a solid foundation. Meanwhile, if you refuse to lend a helping hand when you can, you can be rest assured that you’re digging your own grave with the shovels you threw at others. There’s joy in knowing you were served by someone who went on in life to become successful and he looks back and can’t stop singing your praises for the impact you made in his life. Quit thinking you’re God and can rule over anyone and everyone, remember someday, your life switch will be pulled out and what will be left of you are memories and maybe legacies, if you lived right.

You still have the chance to make them memorable enough to be able to leave a permanent hole in our loving hearts that instigate a smile each time you’re remembered. You know, just recently, my mum told me about a couple of her old bosses of about forty years ago while she was still in service and you could still feel the hate and pain in her voice as she narrated her story, Is this how you want to be remembered?  Well, the choice is yours and I can only hope this piece finds and liberates you. I’ve played my own part and done that which I was sent to do and pray the good Lord sends deliverance to those who have been enslaved by horrible bosses and make them kings of their own and begin to live again. God bless !

Pulling Down Strange Alters

When we are talking of alters, I want us to know there are so many things that represent alter in our lives. Some started or were raised the day we were born while some started the day we got married just to mention a few and it’s only normal we have a proper understanding of what exactly we are talking about before proceeding, so now the question is, what is an Alter? A alter is a place of connection, it’s a place of power. It can also be referred to as a place of covenant. It’s a place of sacrifice and definitely not a place to joke but a place of auction. Some powers are working in that place and it could be negative or positive. Before alter can come to place, blood has been shed. Like I said earlier, it’s a place of covenant and it serves as a means of connection. And I pray for you that every alter working against you shall collapse In Jesus Name.

A alter like we already know is a place where covenants are been made. Ladies and gentlemen, some people have shed blood in a particular place and have said their children will serve “you”. The truth is, some covenants have been made on your behalf and unless you break that connection, you are tied to that alter because there’s a covenant involved. An oat has been sworn. And a covenant can’t be broken unless the both parties involved come together to agree. I want us to know that the issue of alter is a very serious one and should be taken with all seriousness. There are two types of alters, It’s either you’re operating under an Alter controlled by God or the one controlled by the devil. If yours is controlled by God, I say congratulations but if not and yours is been controlled by the devil, may the power of the almighty set you lose today In Jesus Name.

Why? Satanic alter is a place of destruction while the Alter of God is where destiny is been molded to fulfill its glory. Now having said that, allow me to talk at length on what an Alter really is. I know we now know an Alter is a place of covenant, a place of power but its way beyond that and without taking too much of your time, I will like to break it down for better understanding. First and foremost, an Alter is a place of sacrifice. Any time you approach the alter, whether you are bringing your offering or dancing towards it, always have it in mind that it’s a place of sacrifice. Through an Alter, whether it’s your personal one or not, sacrifices are made to your God or gods, depending on whom you choose to serve.

Secondly, an Alter is a place of blood covenant. It’s a place where covenants are been made. For instance, our fore fathers made covenants with various gods on our behalf and that I must say is the cause of so many problems today. Many made covenants with Ifa, Sango and Obatala just to mention a few. And as Christians, we need to break those covenants before we can be totally free from the works of darkness because an oat was made and covenants are not easily broken unless by the mercy of God. That’s why you see so many women today who can’t give birth because an agreement was made that unless they make sacrifices to the idol of that family or do certain other things unmentioned, they will never hear the cry of a child. This is one out of so many problems faced by many families today but I pray that the Almighty will break every covenant that was made on your behalf that is now affecting your life with his blood In Jesus Name.

Thirdly, an Alter is a place where blood is crying. The good people of the united states of the world, may I announce today that the blood of Jesus is going to speak on behalf of someone In Jesus Name. Whenever a blood is been shed on an Alter, the blood begins to cry. And I’m sure we all understand what it means for blood to cry, it’s a terrible thing. And I pray the Almighty will seize the voice of every crying blood on your behalf and he will set you free from every evil alter that was raised to destroy your destiny In Jesus Name. Furthermore, an Alter is a place of spiritual dining table where food is offered to the spirit. Whether for evil purposes or godly purposes, it serves as a platform where spirits are been fed. For instance, as Christians, we give praises and worship our maker to welcome the holy spirit into our midst, while incantations are been made to usher in the spirit of their gods in evil Alters.

Also, an Alter can be said to be a place of spiritual exchange. As Christians, we worship and honor our mighty God, rendering praises to his holy name and in return he gives us miracles. It’s also a place we make our supplication known, a place we pray and communicate with him in form of prayer request and in return he gives us testimonies and a heart full of Joy. And on the other hand, it also serves as a place of exchange for those who have made up their mind not to follow the ways of the Lord and rather prefers to choose evil over good. There you see people exchanging goats for human lives and little sums for untimely wealth and so on and so forth. For example, according to John 3:16 which says, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life”, that’s an exchange to redeem our life, and that’s a huge example of an alter been a place of exchange.

Finally, an Alter is a place of fellowship. It’s a place we fellowship in spirit and in truth. It’s a place we worship our maker and fellowship with him; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. It’s a place of connection. We connect with our heavenly father in spirit, I want us to know that to fellowship goes a long way and whether it’s been done the gospel way or the evil way, we become one with whoever it is we are looking up to and makes it easier to communicate with them. So without a doubt, an Alter is a place of fellowship but the question now Is, who do you fellowship with?

Brethren, you must know that an Alter can work for you and can as well work against you. And in most cases, it’s alters raised with evil intentions that work against us. I pray that every evil alter that has been raised from your father’s house, those raised from your mother’s house or maybe it’s the ones from your in-law’s house that has been working against you, may the Almighty begin to pull them down In Jesus Name. You know, according to the book of Colossians 2:14-16, He has canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross. In other words, an Alter is a place of deliberation, it’s a place of decision, a place of action and it could either be positive or negative. I want us to know that consciously or unconsciously, alters work against our lives and may the Lord deliver us from evil alters In Jesus Name.

Now, what are the effects of evil alters? To start with, curses can be issued at evil alters, so don’t joke with anyone waging a curse at someone from an evil alter. The truth is, destinies are diverted at evil Alters. It is a place where the devil and his agents pass destructive judgment. Even the children of God are been accused wrongly by the devil and his agents. Basically, people’s lives are been controlled wrongly in evil alters and people working under the influence of such alters struggle to achieve success. Do you know that generations can be dedicated in this alter? The truth is, so many people are living but their destiny is been controlled in these alters. And to put the icing on the cake, most of the things you’ve spent the whole of your life struggling and looking for can be hidden in these alters we are talking about. Basically, it’s a place of destruction, a place of limitation. Now the question is, what’s the way out?

First of all, you need to ask yourself if you notice the presence of any demonic alter in your life and then repent of anything that could have connected you to that alter and renounce your connection to it, if any. Then, go ahead to resist them using the word of God and violently with the help of your prayers, you will kill the priest at that alter. Afterwards, withdraw your name and your virtues from this alter and destroy the Alter by cursing it. Then create a new alter between you and God. However, as I conclude, I want you to know you need aggressive prayers, this is not a child’s play. Get on your kneels and cry out to God and I pray that the Lord will hear your cry and deliver you today from every evil alter that has been raised to truncate your destiny and He will destroy every evil covenant that has been made in the past on your behalf that’s not allowing you live a fulfilled life and wear you a new garment and you will begin to flourish in all that you do In Jesus Name.

Year 2016... Don't Be Fooled

I'm constantly baffled by the circumstances of life I've been faced with in the past months, let's just say the year 2016 for me as been a journey through life's merry and bitter path on my way to rediscovering self and unravelling God's plan and I must admit I shed a couple tears and maybe frustrated at some junctions but His unending grace and my undying zeal to succeed kept me going till this gracious moment I'm privileged to be gracing these pages. And if it is right for me to say, then without stuttering, I will say I've been through hell and back.

Truly, life is not a bed of roses and though I've grown up being accustomed to this phrase but I guess I'm only just beginning to understand the depth in the simplicity of how it sounds. Life is deep and don't allow yourself for even a mere second to be fooled into thinking otherwise. You're alone in this world and if you're lucky, you just might have your parent and siblings travelling on the same coach with you because our families are not even guaranteed to be trust worthy and dedicated to helping us walk right in life. I mean, I've heard and personally experienced scenarios of life whereby a so-called parent, brother or sister is the one ranging war against the destiny of their own.

It's sad when we begin to look deep into the affairs of life and trust me, the more you see, the less you know. Well, I'm grateful I was blessed with a wonderful family, God bless the woman behind my smile and to you my loving brothers and sisters and not forgetting you too dad, you may be gone for twenty one years but you're still a part of this team. Many at times I almost gave up in life but you kept me going because the thought of not been able to disappoint you all coordinated the motivation to stay on track, putting an extra soul in me. You have always been there for me even though I mostly caused you pain at the initial stage of my youth days when I inherited a misplaced priority from nonchalantness and wrong associations in the university that almost ruined my life but because I am a project that must be accomplished, no matter the change in regime, the allocation is continued and that I'm thankful for.

Seemingly, it's no longer news to you all my regular readers and followers that I had a pretty awful past and sometimes I feel I may be constituting some kind of nuisance on the pages of my writing pad when I take it upon myself to share some of these privileged information I wouldn't trade a billion for because they are actually what defines who I really am, but then again, taking a deeper look at it all, the only nuisance I believe I'll be constituting is to the camps of those affected by my testimonies and those who are obviously still feeding on milk because it takes a certain level of spiritual understanding to swim in the depth of my words so I ask this day that you seek wisdom because there are a lot buried in between those lines.

It may seem to you as a regular story but definitely not a regular interpretation. No doubt, we all have a story to tell but I don't actually tell these stories, they tell themselves through me, so please pay attention for it may not even be talking to you at this particular point in time but to someone next door who you can be a blessing to. The year 2016 has been one of the best year for me, not because I built houses, drove expensive automobiles and took trips to the bahamas. The truth is, I couldn't even step out of Lagos all year long but I fought and won the biggest battles of my life and still fighting and now I can boldly look to the mirror and be a proud reflection of myself and that for me is the definition of a good living.

Some are driving the best cars and living in mansions but don't even know what tomorrow holds for them. They are lost in the moment but I rather fight now and live later. And through this journey, I rose and fell to rise stronger and the farther I go, the more the secrets of life given to me. And on that note, may I quickly take a second as I advice you all never to trust anyone. The truth is, our best friends could be our worst enemies. And as a matter of fact, they mostly are. Well, I thank God for opening my eyes to see the true identity and intentions of people I called friends and I just really think the dictionary should loose that word and have it reinstated as 'FRIENEMIES'. You know, I just can't begin to phantom the evil that men do but all the same, I give God the glory.

Looking back through the year, what can you say are your greatest achievements? Is it the houses you built, the cars you brought or the awards and shows you headlined? The good people of the united states of the world, life is deep, don't be fooled if you presently find yourself walking through wall street and switching trips in those private jets, are you sure you got that paper right or you're one of those desperate brothers fast tracking life so that they can ride in those fancy trucks and fresh out Bentleys, it's only a matter of time when life comes calling and requesting for what you owe, it's always better to wait for God, He's the only one who truly gives wealth, the kind that last forever without future scars and regrets.

No doubt, life is good and we all want the good things but why start what we can't finish. I've seen millionaires end up walking on the streets without a penny to their name and even some end up more pathetic and run mad if they are lucky enough not to find an early grave. A word is enough for the wise, thread softly and don't be too impatient. Stripping a brother off his glory so that you may acquire all the riches in life doesn't make you a 'Red Star General', it only makes you a monster whose story is bound to end very badly. Retrace your steps now that you still can and if you're already too deep into it, well you have a chance to start afresh. I believe greatly in 2017 and with God, you can be free from your past and embraced in the future. I wish you all a merry Christmas in arrears and am very optimistic of a prosperous new year. God bless you all !

The College Dropout

Say Cheese, his sister said, joy evident in her voice as the camera clicked away. Kayode was ecstatic, he still had a problem believing it. He had to be dreaming and if he was, he did not want to be awaken. I have graduated, he whispered, savouring the words. It rang true and it felt wonderful. He observed his family and friends rejoicing around him with barely concealed joy. Left to him, an intimate celebration with family and a few friends was enough but of course, his family refuted the idea.

He couldnt fault them though, they were all just so glad for him, but then, who wouldnt? The story of his life was in summary, a miracle. Who would have thought that the college dropout would amount to anything? Although, it would seem that he hasnt achieved anything, he felt like he could capture the world and he could even see himself doing just that. If not for him, then for his mother, who at that moment, was looking at him with so much pride. That look always made his world feel alright.

He would never forget the look she gave him about seven years ago when he told her he had dropped out of school. It was full of disappointment and hurt. He promised himself that expression would never be directed at him again. He wanted to make her happy always, he figured he owes her that much. He didnt think one could be in love with his mother because thats how he felt about her. Saying he loves her sounds too superficial to describe the way he appreciates her.

She is his strength and he knows his siblings feel the same way about her. How many women recovered so boldly and remained unmarried for the sake of their kids after losing their husband at their prime? Kayode sometimes felt she did not grieve enough for her lost love because she wanted to stay strong for them. She became both parents to them without so much fuss and whatever each of them became, they attributed to her unwavering believe in them.

Kayode was in junior secondary school when he lost his father and although he would never admit it to anyone, he lost all motivation to succeed. His father had always been his driving force, he did well in school because he wanted his fathers approval. After his fathers demise however, Kayode lost his morale to succeed at something. He figured, whats the point? Unfortunately for him, by the time he realised he was travelling on a dead end, it was too late.

He was already in college studying a course he had absolutely no passion for, moving with the wrong friends and failing woefully. Now that he thinks about it, his admission into the university was a mystery and the situation was too overwhelming for him to do anything but be bad at it. Frequent visit with his faculty examination officer over his grades overstretched him and eventually he gave up.

The first person Kayode opened up to was his immediate younger sister, Sade and for some reason, she understood. But then, he didnt know why he was surprise, she always seemed to understand him. It was probably because she was closer to him than his elder brother and youngest sister. Sade was the one with him when he finally told his mother and from her reaction that day, Kayode expected nothing less than a disownment. Surprisingly, after a few days of walking on eggshells around the house, she summoned him.

He cannot say exactly what he was hoping to hear from her but the last thing he expected her to say was that she loved him and she believed he could put the past behind him and work on making a future for himself. Kayode couldnt possibly find the words to explain how he felt that day, all he knew was that was the day he decided the world will hear of him. His mother probably doesnt know it but those words pushed him to where he is today.

Kayode smiled at the memories as the noise of jubilation geared him back to reality. He knew he still had a long way to go, this is just a stepping stone but he couldnt help but feel fulfilled. He no longer felt like a disappointment but a success.

The future is uncertain but why does it look brighter? Why did it seem like the world was waiting for him to come contribute his quota? Why does it seem like the sky was beckoning on him to soar?

He did not have the answers to these questions but one thing was clear, He was going to leave his footprints on the sand of time. The world is waiting for the solution to a problem and the college dropout would supply it.

Why Am I In This Friendship?

Friendship is one of the most familiar words in the dictionary as we all are in a friendship of sort. This stems from the human nature to crave companionship and intimacy. However, as familiar as we seem to be with the word, it is also a word widely misrepresented. A lot of people have been left scarred because of the wrong choice of friend(s) and you hear them say there are no true friends. True friendship itself is not a mirage but we seem to have a falsified view about the idea of friendship. I, for one, confide in my friends than I do in my immediate family, yes, we are that close. But closeness is not a determining factor of friendship, intention is. It might sound too simple but it does carry a lot. The simple question, why am I in this friendship?”.

Wikipedia defines friendship as a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people. Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, on the other hand, gave a more explicit description, presenting it as a distinctively personal relationship that is grounded in a concern on the part of each friend for the welfare of the other, for the others sake, and that involves some degree of intimacy. The recurring point in the definitions stated above is that friendship is a mutually satisfying relationship. In other words, it must involve more than one person and it must be mutual. Now, you hardly see people being friends with themselves except their sanity is questionable. But finding people who are not in mutually satisfying friendship is not a rare sight. Sadly enough, most people are unaware.

The importance of friendship to our lives cannot be overemphasized and that is why we cannot afford to get it wrong. The friends we keep are undoubtedly one of the greatest influences we have, which explains why most often than not, our friends reflect our values. We therefore need to understand that true friendship goes beyond what we see on the surface and those deeper factors are what determines whether it is friendship or an organization.

Friendship is expected to have certain features ranging from sympathy, empathy, honesty, mutual understanding, compassion, trust to the enjoyment of each others company, the ability to be oneself, express ones feelings and make mistakes without fear of judgement from the friend. On the surface, most friendships do not lack these qualities but on a deeper level, you tend to find insincere intentions masquerading as affection. Any relationship devoid of genuine love and concern for each other and an unrequited friendship is not in the true sense of the word, friendship because as established earlier, it involves both parties reciprocating the love, care and concern.

One thing I discovered about friendships is that those that developed by chance/virtue last longer than those borne out of need. Now, need comes in different ways, there is what I call the innocent need and the parasitic need. Both types of need are dangerous as it destroys the carrier in the innocent need and the host in the parasitic need. The carrier of the innocent need in most cases is unaware and it is found in people who are insecure or love-starved, low esteemed, if you like and they have irresistible desire to feel loved. When they meet someone who is in the least interested in them or vice versa, they stick to that person in desperation.

The outcome is either the recipient is a leech and ends up draining them or that person is nice but in the long run, gets choked up and withdraws. The parasitic need on the other hand, is very aware and sometimes even smug. The need in this instance is usually for money, position or comfort. In both cases, the driving force for such friendship is not love or genuine concern and will ultimately hit the rocks, leaving one party, if not both, hurt.

Friendship developed by chance is usually as a result of common interests or values. These are the kind of friends life toss at you and you find out their craziness matches yours. They become an integral part of your life but its not a need as much as its an enjoyment. They understand you perfectly and even your silence. This kind of friendship is mutually satisfying and there is a sincere enjoyment of each others company. However, it should not be mistaken that it must last forever, sometimes, it does fade most probably due to distance in space or time. But unlike the former that ends with hurts and hard feelings, they slowly fade away while their memory lasts forever.

This brings us back to the first question, why am I in this friendship? Or why is my friend with me?. My best answer will be in the range of an I dont know, we just had a connection. You ask me the kind of person my friend is and I can give you a two volumed book on how great a person he/she is. But why is the person my friend? I cant seem to explain in words, I am just eternally grateful for the friendship.
