Impressions...

Impressions never really goes away, so it's true what they say about first impressions lasting forever. If so, I admonish we begin to create positive impressions of ourselves on a daily because we may never know what memories we are giving a mouth to mouth to and when we may need them to speak for us. Life is in circles and it's funny how things of the past evolves right through the present and making major headlines in a future yet to come. And the earlier we understand that our lives are judged by the beauty of the face we give to them, the sooner we begin to paint a perfect picture of ourselves and still maintaining that golden smile each time there's a glance through life's portrait.

Unfortunately, we often complain about how we are been treated wrongly by our friends, colleagues and families when we are the ones on actual fact imposing a permanent dent on our personality by the negative impressions we give of ourselves. And the truth is, no one else is to be blamed but us. Apparently, the kind of energy emanated will determine the level of hospitality arrayed to us. Many have missed out on life great opportunities due to the fact that they couldn't give a good account of themselves when it mattered most. And the worst thing about it all is that our attentions are not mostly called upon when these observations take place, so we just have to learn to be in our best behavior at all times because we may never know when and who's watching. And with that said, permit me to quickly share with you a story that just came to mind and hope we are able to relate it with our lives and learn a thing or two as there must be a reason it was orchestrated in my thoughts.

And the story goes thus.... There was this young lad who was just recently recruited as an outdoor marketer with an holiday company by the name Hemingway Safaris Africa and he was so conscious of his looks and that didn't just attract the attention and interest of his female co-workers but also earned the respect of his supervisors and senior colleagues at work. He dressed irresistibly well, neat and matured and never forgot to keep that smile radiated on his face. I mean, he was just a pleasant sight to behold and little did he know that was just about to hand him the keys to open doors.

It all happened on this amazing day while on duty at the International Airport and as usual he was dressed pretty sharp and neat and I watched him walk towards this pretty looking lady who just got back into the country, I mean, you could tell from the looks of her skin and the ascent that springs out her words. He greeted her warm and nicely, requesting her permission to have a quick word with her and she smiled back, giving her consent. They had a swift conversation and when he was done getting her to fill the form requested of her by the company, he thanked her for the time spent and walked away quietly, leaving her with an impression that started a fire in her and achieving the aim encompassed by her burning desire was the pump that fueled her curiosity.

She walked to me having noticed I was dressed in the company t-shirt just sited by the stand and not walking around talking to clients like others, so I guess she must have deduced I was the supervisor and she wanted a moment with me. Immediately we got talking, she pointed towards the direction of the young lad where he was talking to other clients and without a single delay, she went straight to making her intentions known and which was to make him the manager of a company she had traveled back home to set up. Now imagine how differently the story would have ended if he gave a bad account of himself at the only opportunity he might have ever had crossing her path in life, walking to her looking so dirty, rude and unprofessional, would I be gracing my pages right now with his tales?

Life is full of opportunities but we have a major role to play in securing and customizing them in our name. The first impression we give of ourselves goes a long way in life so I advice we avoid been given a bad name because even if we desist from our old terrible ways and find God eventually, a pool of doubt is somewhere already swimming the oceans and waters the shore at any opportunity given. Trust me, they never really go away, so it's better we give a good impression of ourselves from the onset because that opens more door than a master key. Well, I hope we've been able to learn something from this life humbling scenario inspiration brought our way this awesome day the Lord has made and my heart desiring prayer is that we all shall rejoice and be glad in it.

A Woman's Worth (A Special Dedication)

Women are the most priceless and beautiful creatures gracing the earth and I deem it fit to dedicate this special and carefully written piece to the men for the glorious work done by the king creator himself and I just can't stop wondering what he must have been thinking about when he decided to bring them alive. No doubt, when we look at all the wonderful things that the bible tells us about the creation of the woman and why it came to be, it is safe to summarize it that they were created to complement us but then again, I think that would be me understating the astounding work done through Adam's ribs because they are just too breathtaking and not even words I believe can perfectly explain the awesomeness of what they really stand for.

You know, women are gods on their own and should be worshiped day and night and I hope we understand to what context that is because I hate to be misunderstood. Apparently, they are our mothers regardless of how old they are and when I say women, I mean every female being walking the surface of the earth because that distinct and unmatchable personality was inherited right from the first cry that announced their arrival to the world and into motherhood I must add. The beauty surrounding her being cannot be under-emphasized as they feel the most pain and yet have the prettiest smile, it is just unbelievable how they tend to possess so many amazing functions all in one body, china town must have taken a queue from that.

However, it's heartbreaking how so many underestimate the power of a woman and miss out on the great things embedded in them. The truth is, with them, what you give is what you get so I advice you begin to keep that smile radiated at all times. You can't begin to phantom the million doors a sincere prayer from a joy filled heart of a woman can open in just a matter of seconds and on the other hand, destinies have been truncated by that same tongue, you just have to decide how you want it used, either for you or against you and I admonish you go with the first option.

Ostensibly, the world is designed around them and what life tends to offer you, either good or bad can be traced back to the women in your life and to every successful man comes a lady. You know, it is impossible to hurt the women around you and find favor with men and that implies to the helpers of your destiny. How far you go in life can be determined by the number of ankle chains sweeping the floor while rendering prayers to the Lord and trust me, a prayer from a feminine lip that takes an hour for God to answer can take a month and even more coming from a man under the same circumstances. The power they exude cannot be quantified and though they may seem weak but we can't begin to conceptualize how heaven is moved by a drop of their tears.

I bless the day I was born into this world by an astonishing woman I call mother and you should feel the same if you understand the miracle surrounding your birth. I mean, we can't conjure up the unbearable pain they go through in that labor room and not forgetting the nine month duration of carrying and nurturing us in their tummy, so let's take a moment each day to hug and kiss, thanking them for showering us with so much love and a care that knows no bound. It's a wonderful feeling to be wrapped around their arms and that warm good night kiss that pampers us to bed keeps lingering in our hearts and leaves us wanting for more.

How perfect can our world be without them, it would have just been another male boarding school without a feminine touch gracing our slum books and if I'm allowed to just go ahead to hit the nail in the head, emphasizing a true opinion, then I'll enthusiastically attest without stuttering to how miserable we would have been without them. Basically, they are angels sent to us from God and they could also be our worst nightmare depending on the path we choose to travel when on a life adventure with them. They love to be pampered, loved, cared for and totally appreciated. You know the whole 'TLC' thing; Tender, Love & Care, that's a part of their initials you don't want to miss out tattooing their names to your world.

Now, may I conclude by saying that knowing a woman's worth starts with knowing yourself, if you really know who you are, you can never go wrong in your dealings with them. Love and cherish them because they are the pillars of our wealth and home. They love attention and here is a couple dollars I'm giving out so you can pay for some. Don't neglect her rights and welcome her contribution because they see beyond our greatest imagination, trust me. Never raise your hands on them or mark the day you do as the day you became cursed. There are just somethings that are unforgivable and that happens to top that very list. Never with your own hands chase your wife out of your home or it's as good as you chasing your wealth away. These and many more are secrets of life we may not know but have greatly truncated the destinies of man.

Life is deep and so is the word we speak, be careful not to tango with the negative utterances from the tongue of a broken heart. Quit playing games and start taking blames, let's know two wrongs cannot make a right especially with them. Show me a man moving from city to city exploring and doing great things and I will show you a woman on the altar moving from step to step, trying to get closer to her God, soliciting and holding forth for her man. And whether we like it or not but truly as the song goes, women run the world and someday I hope to find that special woman to complement and help me become the man I was created to be... God bless us all

The Man I used to be

Although people may not totally understand why I chose to do things the way I did and the circumstances surrounding the decisions of today but if given a first row seat to my life to witness some of the things I go through and I've been through, then you'll probably just get on your kneels and worship the King for how faithful He has been strengthening me to surpass evil imaginations and keep going against all odds. You know, I've been wrongly judged by things perceived of me from the outside but little do they know what radiates on the inside. I mean, it's just unbelievable how judge mental we humans can be but then again, it's okay to jump into conclusion, let's just be careful how we are so quick to condemn ourselves because the same way we judge others, so shall we be judged. Now some might ask, what has he even been through in life that others haven't?

Well, the answer really is nothing because there's nothing new under the sun, but then I ask, what happens when the sun refuses to set at the appointed time and the children are still out there playing and riding their bicycles when they already should have been in bed sleeping to awaken the new day. The answer to that question got itself laced up in my shoes and kitted in my favorite attire as my life portrays a perfect picture of that and trust me, you don't want to live the sixties when you're in the 21st century, so you can imagine the dramas I must have played a lead role to. You know, my days have been clouded with the late night stars and though it seemed like it would rain but I was encompassed by the fear of the heat that came with it. Never have I bought a tooth brush and didn't have to pay for the whole pack eventually.

It's just crazy how life demands so much of you and gives nothing back. But then, just before I go on, allow me warn you that my words are six feet so you may need to walk with your shovels when travelling with me on a journey through my pages because I hate to loose you by the expressions I bury them with. And with that said, my pain gives a mouth to mouth to my thought and may come out wrong some times by the actions imbued due to the unhealthy circumstances surrounding its birth, but then ofcourse, I don't apologize for them because they define who I am. You may really think you know me but you don't have the slightest clue. The fact that we had a couple sticks together and messed up a couple sheets doesn't quantify an opinion of me.

The memories you think you have of me are times I was out there playing the devil's advocate but did it occur to you at the time that there was a messiah sited by his father on the throne soliciting for my release from the grip of the dark faceless one and today I'm filled with his grace. Where were you when my dad was gone just a couple of weeks to his 50th birthday, when I was just a young lad still trying to know the amazing man that brought me to life, do you have the slightest clue of the pain I was filled with when the wicked world took him away prematurely, breaking the bond and making us cry, now you think you're qualified enough to play God in my life and judge me? Wow !

Well, you can choose to play God all you want but those that knew me while I was still a young kid growing up would know that I was that cute boy who loved to read his books and climb up the roof so as not to get distracted by the aroma coming out from mum's kitchen and beckon from friends who wanted to play football, but who I grew up to be and that you were privileged to meet was a different version of the created me that the evil ones wanted you to see. It's a wicked world we are living in, so be rest assured that there are people in the dark places working effortlessly so as to make sure that your destiny is truncated but I thank God because today I'm beginning to find myself, acknowledging my wrongs and praying that no one ever has to suffer in the hands of known and unknown enemies of destiny, for things he or she know or knows not, either because of the glory or the mistakes of the parent.

Anyway, like I said earlier, it is okay if you choose to judge me for the wrongs I must have done to you at some point in my life but let him without a sin cast in the first stone. The truth is, no one knows it all, we've all fallen short of his glory and will continue to fall short of it till the end of time because it's just who we are and it is only by His grace that we live this day. So therefore, rather than to sit here feeling bad, I choose to thank God for the man I'm fast becoming and the one I use to be because they only testify to the goodness of God in the life of a man and leaving us with a well stated fact that everything will eventually work for the good of those that love God. I am not perfect and neither are you and the fact I know better today and living a righteous life still doesn't guarantee I wouldn't hurt you tomorrow. Let us just always understand that no matter how close to perfection we may think we are, the human factor in us always comes to play and that's why there's grace. It is not by our power or might, so why don't we begin to remember people for the good they do and put aside the wrongs for a change. And if only we could, then I'm convinced that the world would be a better place for you and I.

What Can't He Do?

I ask myself over and over again if there's anything the king creator cannot do and I'm short of words because my life itself is a testimony to the fact that the Lord can do all things, if only you believe in him and allow him do his wonders through you, in you and for you. Fortunately, this is a topic that has been greatly discussed in our churches, mosques and various places of worship and references have been made to the bible and Quran just to mention a few, but this piece will be taking a different direction as I will be making references to real life situations, so journey with me as I take you through some personal experiences and scenarios I was privileged to witness at some point in my life and hope we learn a thing or two at the end of it all.

So I ask again, what can't He do? What can't the one who took me out of the clubs and reintroduced me to the church after many years of a wayward living, washing away my sins and cleansing my system off the Vodka. What can't He do, the one who took the cancer sticks off my lips despite how addicted I was. I mean, I've been smoking since the year 2000, just when I was about graduating from high school and yet I'm alive and not knocked down by cancer. What can't he do, the one who continuously strengthens me and gives me the grace to drop the cigarette stick each time I'm in the counsel of old friends and pick up the Benson & Hedges pack again, lighting up a couple sticks, he does not turn his back at me in anger because he's patient enough to understand it's a life I've lived for so many years and all it takes is encouragement and more grace to stay away completely.

What can't He do, the one that thought the 'little me' to respect women and not jump in bed with every cute one that catwalks through that door. My life is a testimony to the wonders of the Lord and for those that knew me back then, I'm sure you know what I mean. Some love women, some alcohol, some just love to smoke cigarette and all kinds of drugs and while some maybe addicted to more than one, maybe two but I did it all and excessively that is. I can't count the number of times I was involved in an accident on my way from a club party back in school but not ones did I record a bruise on myself, the car always took the hit for me and I never forgot to show my gratitude, little wonder it always came out shinning again in new paints.

Now let me take you back to the year 2008 when a classmate of mine back in the university almost drown to death during our graduation pool party in some hotel in Lekki, he had himself soaked up in Vodka and that same bottle of liquor gave him a shot back at life. You know, we were all partying and having fun and all of a sudden, Toyin was no where to be found, we just noticed the vodka bottle he was holding was up floating alone by the edge of the pool where he was initially sighted and was left with no breath at all by the time he was rescued and rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. But thank God for God, today he's alive and living happily in the united states and what if there was something God couldn't do that night?.

This is a story I hold so dearly to my heart because I witnessed someone dead been brought back to life so miraculously just at the point of graduation after six long years of hard work and labor and I just wonder what would have happened to his parent, friends and family if God wasn't there to do that which he knows how to do best. So this makes me ask again and with my hands stretched out wide this time, what can't He do, the one who gives a twin baby boy to a family who has been expectant for 25 years and a year later, they are blessed with another set of beautiful twin girls, isn't it marvelous how He takes away the tears of his people, replacing it with a joy that knows no bound.

What can't He do? I could go on and on making references to the amazing ways the Lord has showed his greatness in the lives of those that believe in him but like I said earlier, my life alone is enough to preach it so why waste more time trying to paint a picture that's self evident, or am I not the one writing this piece. Years back my life was a mess and still cleaning up the mess till today I guess, but one thing is guaranteed and that's the unending relationship with my creator and that supersede every other thing. So therefore, I may be broke today and might be a nobody but I'm not bothered because I believe in the wonders of tomorrow and I know for a fact that there's nothing my redeemer cannot do. And as the scripture goes, "sorrow may endure through the night but joy comes in the morning", the Lord said it, I believe it and that settles it.

You Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone

You don't know what you've got till it's gone. God often sends people into our lives, careers, businesses and even relationships or marriages as the case may be but unfortunately we are too blind to see and acknowledge their presence and mostly chase them away by our attitude, ignorance and lame perspectives just to mention a few. A spiritual leader once told me about a lady I should have dated years back, who would have saved me from encountering so many problems I had to encounter years later in life but I was too blind to the fact at the time and I missed it and paid dearly for the consequences of my action. My point is, sometimes in life we don't even know what we should have had till it's gone.

My life is a case study to this particular topic inspiration dished at us this day and I will be more than happy to share a thing or two of my personal experiences when need be. You see, God loves us so much and orchestrates means and ideas to help smoothen our drive through life but it's left to us to acknowledge and grab the opportunities when they come racing by. Time waits for no one, neither do these opportunities because they come at us even faster than the speed of light and one can't afford to second guess or else they are lost and gone forever. Your instincts just have to be very sharp and always at work to be aligned with it's pace.

The truth is, life is in stages and each with it's own continuous assessment and once failed, you're not permitted to move to the next, you just have to go through the process all over again till you get an 'A'. And towards the ending of this academic session of life school is when these angels present themselves to help ease our work load and to nurture us, making sure we had a successful examination but then ofcourse, that depends on if we acknowledge and allow them do that which they've been sent to do and unfortunately that's where we often miss it.

How do we explain this? Well it's simple, many eyes look but only a few eyes see and basically you need more than just your physical eyes in this context. And as a famous adage goes, "He who has a head does not have a cap and he who has a cap does not have a head", that just perfectly describes the spirit nature of man. Many of us are blind spiritually and if only we were showed a video of our humble selves in the spirit realm, we would brace up and head on to see an optician with immediate effect because we have more than cataract in our eyes and overdue for a comprehensive eye operation.

We don't know what we have till it's gone and even my humble self is guilty of that. I once had an angel sent to me by God to love and cherish me and help build me into the man I was created to be but I lost her and till this very day I've not been able to find a lady so loving, caring, beautiful and God fearing as her. You know, she dedicated a huge part of her life to me and had her world rapped around mine but I allowed youthful exuberance and advances from other girls get into my head and she was gone and never to be back again. I mean, who does that, loose a girl who bought you your first bible and clipper, that only shows she looks beyond the present with you.

Well, I've made mine and I'm writing this day so you don't make a terrible mistake you may have to live the rest of your life with. This is just one of my many continuous assessment test in life school I have had to fail and trust me, the more exams you fail, the more time wasted in getting to your destination. My past has been filled with so much drama and all thanks to wrong options I chose to go with but you can choose not to fail your instincts like I failed mine. Listen to what your heart is telling you but decide with your head. You can't afford to be emotional with the matters of life, a single mistake can take you ten blocks back, so wake up and pay attention.

In conclusion, never look down on anyone or any opportunity that presents itself at your door step, you may never know the means by which the creator decides to send you an angel. It could even be a broadcast message from an acquaintance on Whatsapp or a random post on our social media platforms, the most important thing is that you see beyond what others see, acknowledging and taking full advantage. But then, be rest assured it takes a lot of work to get to that stage, this isn't rice and beans we're talking about here, it takes a lot of self discipline, both physically and spiritually that is, so quit been a majority that looks and aspire to be the minority that sees.

Beautiful Yet Unmarried, Sisters Call.

Marriage is a promise of God to every human walking through the surface of the earth, for the bible tells us that man will one day come together with his woman to become one. That is a set out fact but these days, it is really becoming alarming how our ladies are staying single at their thirties and one can only but wonder why a pride of the future has become a pain engraved in the heart of our sisters. Well, I hope I don't get to offend a lot of people writing this but if eventually I do, reaching out to the selected few God has ordained this piece for is my feel good sip from the drink inspiration has brought to the table this day.

No doubt, the truth is bitter but that wouldn't stop me from expressing my sincere thought about a particular subject matter at any given point in time because I'm only a servant carrying out his master's cause and like they always say, one only fears who sent him and not who he's been sent to. And on that note, I cordially invite you all to a moment of truth, sponsored and brought together by the bleed-ings of an heavenly pen wetting my pages and hope we all let our guards down for a minute or two and not allow pride deprive us from seeking the truth and living by it, for only the truth they say shall set us free.

And with that said, I will like to take a step further by hitting the nail in the head and whether we like it or not but the fault lies with us and I mean the ladies, this has been specially orchestrated for you. Yea, no doubt you're beautiful but beauty doesn't keep a man, it only attracts him and the moment he gets what he wants, he starts wanting more and not even sex can fulfill the urge for more at that point and that's where your humanly worth as a woman comes to play. I mean, who would choose quantity over quality, your attitude goes a long way in keeping marriage bound relationships and men may seem blind by what they have below their belt but trust me, we actually see beyond the sweat on those sheets.

The truth is, we already know what we want from the very first day and though sometimes we may not be totally clear with our intentions but we definitely have a clear judgement on how we intend going about expressing them. We meet some and out-rightly we just want sex, while we meet some and we're filled with a possibility of a future together and how that story ends falls back to the lady in question and that's where they often miss it. No man and I mean a real man would see an angel and mistake her for a demon but I can boldly beat my chest and say a lady, I mean a real one can see a demon and mistake him for an angel because of misplaced priority and quest for settling for a "ready made man". No one says security isn't good but how much longer because of riches will you keep pushing your partners away and giving in to the lust of men who are just there for the sex, enjoying the moment while they last. Is that why you were created so wonderfully and yet so beautifully?

Now let's talk about those who are so picky and waiting for their prince charming till all the princes in the world become kings and give birth to princes who also with time become kings, they seem to forget that time is fast running out on them and the older they become, the lower the price tag on them. Time waits for no body and queens are born into the world each day. The latest statistics shows that about hundred girls are born for every hundred and five boys in most industrialized countries and it's funny how fast the younger generation develop these days and you will be amazed the type of butt you'll find on a thirteen year old and I wonder if this is a world one throws away her options for a possibility that may never be possible.

And some on the other hand are just too busy engaging and loving their career and that only gives room to questions been asked of whether they intend heading to their jeweler to cut a diamond piece with which they intend engaging themselves with and will eventually tie the knot. The world has just gone totally crazy and we are no longer going by the commands of the scripture and most women out there wants to be her own boss forgetting that no matter how successful or independent you may be, your assets and degrees can never fill the void of companionship and someday your body and nature comes calling and trust me, your fat checks and big budgets won't be there to hug and kiss you at night when you yawn for that touch.

Finally, this goes out to those already overdue and are always in the church seeking a partner and I hate to break it to you but the miracle isn't in the church, the miracle starts with you. Gone are those days where we find the good guys and ladies in the church. These days, although sad but true, our churches are filled with wolves in human skin and like a friend would say, our churches have become hospitals and full of sick people. But then of course, that doesn't mean there are not people with good intentions and pure hearts still within the walls of the church but I ask, why do we ignore our roles and leave it all to God to be the actor, the producer and yet the editor in our own life drama.

I know some critics would still come out twisting my words but when I say somethings that may seem blasphemy, that's because I want us all to stop leaving everything to God and start taking an active role in our own happiness. God is good and great but the actions of us the so called Christians even belittles the God we claim to hold so high. Quit quoting the bible and start living it. Don't abandon your social life for the church, you need both, you just have to be able to balance them adequately. I'm not the type of christian that sees the truth and hide behind the lies we feed to ourselves, twisting the Lord's words and making a fool out of ourselves. If you like, go for every service in the church calendar and attend all the marriage seminal in the world, without impacting a change within yourself, that will only be a waste of time.

The change starts with you, after all, the bible makes us understand that heaven help those who help themselves. Your partner is out there but you need the right qualities and attitude to attract him. Prayer without work is nothing, don't fast yourself to death when you feed on lies. Change your mindset and approach to religion, been a follower of christ doesn't make us slaves to our destiny. Go out and have some fun, meet interesting people and keep positive company. Mix up your company a little bit and have some married friends too. Don't be too picky but at the same time, don't settle for less, you just have to do a good work balancing both. Marriage is the beauty of life, it's the essence for which we were created. Go out and find that wonderful man but first, look inward and find that wonderful lady. God bless !

My Country, My Dream

Writing a book isn't the problem but not been taken advantaged of is. The print world is full of Lions and Gorillas, so be careful when you're writing your first because it could also be your last. Be sure you have it all figured out before leaving your pen to bleed because there are people out there who are ready to take all the credit in exchange for a few pennies and that raises a fear and sure kills the motivation. Truth is, the country is full of individuals walking around each day with a broken dream, not because they want to but because the country forced them to.

Our leaders sell us some piece of crap in exchange for our votes, promising the world if they get elected and eventually we are the ones who reach to the bottom of our purse to pay for the debt owed for a lie that was sold to us. Many grew up wanting to be LAWYERs and DOCTORs and now LAWMAs and CONDUCTORs, well, they are still enforcing the law and conducting the operation, not just in our courts and theater rooms. Who do we blame? Is it our leaders who effortlessly strive to enrich themselves or the people who continuously sell out their votes and their right to make a difference?.

We can still make that change, let's not say we lost on the election day because I have so much believe in the present administration and would rather want us to win the war within ourselves first and worry about the government later. We are the nation, the people and the dream, and Nigeria can only loose when we do. If we choose to win today, we would be surprised how things would begin to change for the better. Let's stop these negative utterances we make, there's power in the tongue my people. No matter how bad things might be for the Americans, they'll always conclude by saying "God bless America", do you know how far that goes?

Let's be nation builders and not killers, you can still become who you want to be as long as you're still breathing, you're a part of the Nigerian dream. So many great men have lost their lives to the struggles of wanting to make a difference so that we all can eat right. There's always light at the end of the tunnel and Nigeria might be going through its dark moments right now, but remember we took our country back from the British and will definitely bring our girls back.

The troubles we are facing today are compilation of truth neglected yesterday. What we sow is what we would reap, period. No one is innocent of these wrongs, we've all played an active role in the failure of our democracy. But then ofcourse like I always say, it's pointless pointing fingers when we can use that valuable time to come up with a positive plan that soon gets us out of this mess and put us back where we should be on the map. Nigeria is a great country and regardless it's shortcoming, it remains one. We just need to wake up from our slumber and start living the dream.

The truth is, if you have an orange and you don't take good care of it, it starts to rotten and that's where we find ourselves today. God has blessed this nation richly but we chose to act like spoilt brats and we are like the prodigal son who squandered all his father gave him and now crying back to God for help when by this time we should be making major impact on the world. Show me a country that is blessed than Nigeria and our geography books and world maps would be a fraud. God bless Nigeria, we are in recession and not at war, collectively we can build our golden nation back up and get hunger out of our land.

I believe in this nation, I believe in the Nigerian dream, I believe in the current disposition and finally, I believe in the coming together of you and me. Nigeria is one nation, one people, when we win, we rejoice together and when we fail, we cry together. Let's not leave it all in the hands on our leader and keep pushing blames on them, we've all failed each other and it's time we make things right. The change starts with you and together we would mount the national flag back up and keep the green white green flying again.

God Bless Nigeria !
