True African Beauty

Our women are swiftly beginning to forget their moral value and standards and would rather prefer dis-engaging themselves rather than embracing their cultural heritage, the type our mothers were proud of. Do we really need to be reminded how beautiful we are? And the truth is, I just don't get this bum snapping pose they strike each time there's an upload on our social media platforms, Instagram must be really popular for creating such a platform for our women to showcase their talent.. smh!

It's funny how we've adopted the lifestyle and fashion ethics of the western world and have totally turned our backs to our very own. This and many more raises eye brows in the society and today issues are been raised of indecent dressing although I've never been a subscriber of such criticism because I believe fashion evolves and we shouldn't be left behind. However, that doesn't necessarily mean we should walk around the streets naked and provocatively, so let's not misunderstand each other because I hate to be the catalyst of immorality.

Well, like I said earlier, there's nothing wrong in wanting to be a part of the trend but we are beginning to concentrate more on the outside, forgetting true beauty is within and that's a school of thought I wouldn't purchase an handout for. I understand every woman wants to cause a malfunction to the masculine brain at the traffic junction, but while at it, let's not forget you're the daughter of a respected man and a future wife to another.

Yea, no doubt, we're in the jet age unlike our mothers who lived in the era where 20 yards of attire was needed to sow a Tan top but still, let's not be fooled into loosing our values. Wake up every morning reminding yourself how beautiful you are and how planet earth is privileged to have you walking through it. You were uniquely and wonderfully made and no make up kit can make you beautiful, it only enhances the perfect work already done at your birth.

Stay sophisticated in those exotic designer wears and Christian Louboutin shoes but never forget true beauty comes from the inside and only radiated on the outside, otherwise you'll only be another mannequin kited for display at our favorite boutiques. The truth is, every woman is beautiful but until they find that inner glow that no amount of money can buy.

The world has become so artificial and our women would rather rely on the external features to feel wonderful when their beauty is factory fitted and were carefully engineered to be a "full option", I mean, God must be thinking of a Mercedes automobile when he created them. And on that note, please allow me as I close to remind you of the extra hours God must have put in work when creating you, you're beautiful just the way you are and it's time to showcase the true worth of an African woman because the world is watching.

Words Like Bullet

Words are like bullets and your mouth is the gun, be careful how you murder others. The truth is, we all at some point are guilty of committing homicide even though we don't know it. But then, many have been sent to their early grave by the choice of our words and some are locked up, doing life behind bars because we chose to use our words against them when they should have spoken for them. Word is power, they are part of what defines us. A man can be loved or hated by the words that springs out of his mouth.

Many destinies have been truncated by words spoken negatively into the life of an individual by people of a higher spiritual realm, while some on the other hand were liberated by the same use of those words but positively this time. In other words, it's not the gun that is bad but the operator. How we choose to use the gun determines the ripple effect caused, so don't be the reason for a collateral damage when you can have the bullets unloaded and off the chambers.

The tongue is one of the smallest part of the human body but carries more weight than the entire body all put together. It has the power to heal and yet to destroy. There are different definitions to a wise man but I say a wise man is one who is able to control his tongue. You can never go wrong if you think carefully before making an utterance. Things you say today can come back to hunt you a million years later. Your words are like the internet, once they are out, they can't be taken back, they spreads like a virus.

Unfortunately, many due to anger and other unjustifiable factors have said some things that pierced a permanent hole in the heart of others, imposing an everlasting dent on their relationship, business and even faith, And Google I say is the only one with the right to load it's chambers and shoot at the push of the "search button" because it only gives what it's expected of it. And until you can critically analyze and solve problems in seconds without inflicting more harm to the subject matter, I suggest you get a pest control solution for your mouth and have it fumigated on a regular basis.

Truth is, you can be forgiven for many different things but your words are unforgivable. They can only be excused after a series of apologies has been made and then the friendship is finally allowed to go on. But trust me, deep down it lingers and they resurface at every subsequent arguments. Basically, no one ever forgets the pain, we can only pretend to but they are always there. Now the question is, why would you want to create an atmosphere for an everlasting torture when you can read through the alternatives and choose the right option.

Well, the choice is yours my dear friend but I will rather be caught restoring lost hopes and helping people get back on their feet by the inspiration of my words rather than doing otherwise. Never try to spoil someone's life with a lie when yours can be ruined with the truth. Choose to use your words constructively and positively and let your audience be blessed richly. Some are very fragile and you'll be amazed by the impact your words can have on them. Words are like two-edged swords, they cut faster than you can imagine, so change a life today, don't destroy it

In conclusion, there's power in the tongue and we can choose to destroy our enemies with it. Prophesy into your life each day and curse those who want you cursed. Don't be fooled, it's an eye for an eye. If you don't take theirs, they are ready to take yours and they are working effortlessly to make sure that happens even as we speak. So therefore, I admonish that you start putting your tongue to good use, it pays to build than to destroy. Words I repeat are like bullets, so before you open your mouth, be sure of the intending target, then pull the trigger and shooooooooootttttttt.

We Are The Body Of Christ, Don't Divide It

According to Google, Christianity is the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. In addition to that, Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah sent by God. They believe that Jesus by dying and rising from the dead made up for the sin of Adam and thus redeemed the world, allowing all who believe in him to enter heaven. Now my question is, do we really follow the teachings of Christ as expected of us as his followers or we are actually the ones as Christians intimidating and tearing each other apart?

Well, I can't speak for you but I sure can for myself and it baffles me when we talk about racism in the world when the real racist are within the four walls of the church. I mean, I'm totally amazed at why churches would speak against each other, pointing fingers at things done or shouldn't be done the way they are, all in the name of trying to justify themselves as the real followers of Christ and I just wonder why we can't leave that to him to be the judge of that.

Crazy right? Well, maybe not but this and a few other concerns gave birth to some changes in me and now am often asked why am not a regular at Sunday services and would rather just go for the Tuesday Anointing service with Pastor J.T Kalejaiye and the answer is pretty simple and that's because am at peace each time I set foot into the auditorium because invitations are not just extended to the members of the Redeemed christian church of God but the doors are opened to all, be it Christians, pagans, touts, even Muslims who wants to hear the world of God are not excluded.

Undoubtedly, that gives me so much joy unlike other gatherings where a guy with studs can't worship comfortably without been condemned at first sight and I just wonder how he's meant to be saved and consumed of the holy spirit when he's been pushed away at the closest he came to being liberated from his old ways and the lies the world has sold to him. So I ask again, why do Christians side line each other and would rather divide the body of Christ than protect it?

The truth is, until we know that we serve one God whose only begotten son died for us and are able to confirm with the fact that regardless the church or our religious background that we are one, I rather choose to know God on my own because we are only but hypocrites and it's just so sad. I mean, it breaks my heart when utterances are made against churches from one church to the other and yet we claim to be following the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ when we exhibit a total different trait and a highly questionable one at that.

Apparently, the same way a celestial church would preach against the protestant church is the same way a protestant church will preach against the Catholics and I just wonder if a different "Jesus" actually died for them. It's just so sad and until we can all find a common ground and learn from the Muslims, we would all be hypocrites hiding behind the name "Jesus" and that doesn't make us any different from those who prosecuted him on the cross, only that this time we are ignorant of it.

A word I say is enough for the wise. Christ is one and so is his church, so lets stop dividing it and all call on him as one. Whether you're catholic, a protestant, a celestial or even a pagan, you belong to the body of Christ for there's still a chance for you to repent before the trumpet sounds. Quit condemning the beliefs and ways of other churches, remember, who are we to judge. Let's leave that to the Almighty and do that which is expected of us; the great commission which he has kept in our hands to do. And that is preaching his words and reaching out to the lost souls, that's what you've been commissioned to do. God bless!

When My Pen Bleed

Souls are guaranteed to be liberated when my pen bleed and this isn't a question of how I intend doing that but a matter of when he needs me to get it done. Am in sync with the creator and we can say am a voice that needs to be heard. Apparently, the world has fed us with a lot of lies and even when we know the truth, we rather choose to fall for its manipulating tongue. Now there's a little or no fight at all between right and wrong because the last time I checked, statistics of point scored has greatly tilted to the negative side and we can only but wonder how soon we would get knocked out by life.

It's crazy and highly unbelievable how we've stooped so low and allowed ourselves to be over ride by our right to our own will and are unarguably misusing the grace that has been given to us but let's not forget that no matter how big a storage tank is, if there's no power supply to pump for a refill, the tap runs out. For instance, in recent years, I've been living with an hacked school of thought that was greatly infected with the world's most dangerous virus and was left with a messed up mindset that had me heading for an emergency crash land and if not for grace, where would I be, talk more of writing this piece.

Time is too short to be wasted and you're not guaranteed the next minute, so why not use the seconds wisely. I've heard a couple stories of people dying and been restored back to life after given the privilege of having an encounter with the agent of death and a quick glance at what heaven and hell looks like but I don't need to travel that far to know that people prefer the raining season when there are light showers and that cool night breeze that curdles us to sleep to the extreme heat that the summer sun burns our beautiful skins with.

Basically, where you intend spending your holidays when you're on that permanent leave from life and your soul has been taken away from you is a matter of choice. You can decide to join the train with me this day as we take a ride through wrong and right and let's begin to retrace our steps back to our maker and make corrections where we must have missed it earlier in life. Remember, missing a call from someone we owe doesn't mean we purposely neglected it, but not putting a call through after we must have seen the missed calls when we are not restricted by the lack of airtime is what raises eye brows.

In other words, you still have a chance to make things right as long as you're still breathing. Make that call to your mother who you're so mad at and haven't spoken to in so many years. Tomorrow might be too late and you sure don't want to live the rest of your life in guilt knowing you had the chance to make things right today. And maybe you're an employer of that beautiful lady that was sacked because she refused to play along and allow herself to be harassed and molested by your ungodly hands. Well, today is that day that your conscience has been waiting for and that's if you've got one anyway. It's time to make things right when you still can.

I really wish I could go on and on making references to different life scenarios we could have gone wrong but at this point I choose to leave us to our conscience to be the judge of how faithful we've been exploring our options and if we've gone wrong in any way, I advice we purchased a first class ticket to be a part of this joyful ride initiated by this piece, as it hopes to leads us right back to the Lord's heart. It's a privilege to be a chosen vessel, especially when you're partnering with God on a project that creates a platform that allows the people to absolutely be themselves, expressing their true feelings and sharing it with the world.

And for those who still wonder, well I’m a Christian but not the type that points a finger at Muslims, pagans and even the idol worshipers because I believe we were all created by the same God and for a special purpose which the world wouldn't be complete without. Ostensibly, when my pen bleed, I speak the truth about things that we shy away from in our churches, mosques and various places of worship.
